Why is the only vehicles used are older then 15 years. Does't a car manufactured 2000-2008 good for HHO USAGE?

hello! I was wondering same question. perhaps people are afraid to not damage the new car...:) I have a 2007 Dacia Logan 1.5 Dci ( diesel turbo) and HHO drop at least 1 liter from previous consumption. Until now everything is OK, better response, high mileage, no scary sounds from engine compartment:) I will try higher that actual 1-1.5 LPM unit soon. See www.picasaweb.com/moldoveanu.marius for installation pictures.

I understand that cars made before 1996 are better for HHO because they don't need MAP/MAF Enhansors due to the addition of ECU's built in cars starting with 1996. Cars made after require MAP/MAF Sensor Enhansors to control the lean-to-rich mixture and maximize the HHO benefits. Or something like that.

New cars a brilliant for HHO... the fact that you need an EFIE and/or MAP/MAF is not a bad thing... it gives you more control than an earlier injection system (carburettor engines are different but they are few and far between!) If you want full control of your fuel at all times... get a new sequential lpg system. The new lpg ECU's allow you to alter everything and LPG can melt valves, with the addition of HHO, melting valves gets difficult, the two systems work well together... Old diesels love HHO, newer diesels have oxygen sensors but only a handful need a sensor adjuster... Just MOT'd my old 1991 golf gti... 149,000 miles... no rebuilds, no catalytic converter... HHO injection at minimum 1 lpm for the last 25,000 miles. CO 0.2 % (I'm allowed 3.5%) HC 80 (I'm allowed 000's) Oxygen (3% technically too much!) And no harmful NOX's... Cleaner than nearly all new cars ;)

If say, the middle east stopped sending oil our way tomorrow, and it had the Mad Max effect - no gas, could you add batteries and ample hho generation to run an auto completey on hho/browns gas? Does anyone out there have any imput. I want to know it it possible. It would be a kind of electric/internal combustion engine hybrid. How many batteries, etc? If it possible, I'd love to do this with my classic Mustang.

It simple would not be practical to create. Run some figure here. A 6 cyl. 3.0 engine uses 2100 litre's of air at 700 rpm's a minute. You need about 4% of that to be hydrogen in order for it to burn. Thats 84 litre's just to get the engine to run. At best it seems that it takes 400 watts to produce 5 litre's. That comes to 6720 watt just to run the engine. Now to break this down to the number of batteries. First divid the watts by volts to get the amps used. 6720/12=560 So your load would be 560 amp Hrs. Really good Optima car batteries only offer around 50 amp hrs. at best. So you would need 12 batteries just to get the car running at an idol for one hour. This is assuming that a 4% mixture would contain enough energy to turn the engine over. To run the engine at 1400 rpms just double these figure. To get to highway speeds triple them. Edited to correct my figures here. Accually it would only take half as many liters to get the engine to run as only half of the cylinders fire per revolution.

hi mr2ekko,i think the best for you to do is download the basic principle of this technology from free sites, then try to build a system from materials you can find around your area, need is the mother of invention.i started making my 1st hho generator after seeing the basic principle on youtube,i had no plans or diagrams.if you have a very old vehicle this is a great advantage and you are much more likely to have a good result with this hho tec, good luck flyingdoc.
