at some point i remember seeing an article that mentioned that the hho could etch the cylinder walls under some conditons. i think it was something related to how hot it burns. does anyone know anything about this? i am looking at installing one- i have faith in the science and know my mileage will increase but this would seem to be a serious risk to the engine.

hi,hav'nt come across any stories like that,i did read something that said the nature of hydrogen gas could give embrittlment to the engine, think this was just aluminium ones tho,it was also stated you'd have to have a hell of alot of hydrogen for that to occure.bearing in mind this is only a supplement fuel, there is also petrol or diesel present+oil lubricant,+ probably a litre or less of hho per minute.i dont think you need to worry, ive personally comitted hho cells to my campervan wich is worth£13000 + my work van worth£3500 ,an i worked 4 every penny, i would not risk these lightly, only time will tell.GOFORIT!.Flyingdoc.
