What about conservation of energy?

My knowledge of chemistry is pretty limited, as is my knowledge of automobile engines. So I asked my brother (with a PhD in Physics) for his opinion. His simple reply was that the law of conservation of energy was about as absolute as any in science. In other words, it would take at least an equal amount of energy input to produce energy. So where does the energy come from which enables one to improve mileage so much?

The increased mileage comes from more efficiently buring the main fuel source, i.e. gas, diesel, LPG, Bio-Fuels. Currently, internal combustions engines are very in-efficient, only about 20% efficiency; HHO enhances the "BURN" of the main fuel, thus releasing more engergy from the main fuel than without HHO boost.

Like many in the academic world. What the have knowledge of is what has been taught and what can be found in the written word. When the information that they have knowledge of changes and it has been written down they still have to read and think on it before they recognize it as being true. This is true for us all. Before we can adjust to what has changed about what we know and believe it we have to be shown it. Being present at an event that contradicts what we believe makes it easier for u to accept the change. Now take it one step further. Different people know different things about a topic and some of what they know may conflict with the knowledge held by others. It does not necessarily mean one or the other is wrong. It maybe the way they present what they know and until the other person who disagrees with them has a chance to think about what has been said. The difference between them may be how they understand the meaning of the word used to describe the subject. Things that are written down about the internal combustion engine will not show anything more than the accepted theory. Unexplained events as they have occurred do not see print. Especially if they conflict with the accepted theory that has been in writing for decades. It is not in the interest of car manufacturer or oil companies to recognize new and improved methods of getting more mpg. What they discover within their research and development departments stay in that department. Much of it will be labeled as trade sensitive and not for release outside of the company. That is obvious is it not. That is why the information I put on my web site I declare as OPEN SOURCE. Anything on my web pages that is not under patent or pending a patent is considered to be OPEN SOURCE. OPEN SOURCE means that it cannot be patented. Thereby it stands to stay more readily available. If a great discovery develops it will have a better chance of developing into something useful.

I agree with Fozzy, I've had so many arguments concerning my hho gen and my increase in mpg's, with people who "quote" other sources without ever seeing or knowing anything about hho. just quotes from so called educated people, thats all they have. They think that, all that is, is in the words of "established" literature. even though you have a working and proven system.
