Why now, not before?

By manufacturer Bgaquapower (United Kingdom) 2009:

" Quite simply, with the abundance and inherent profitability of fossil fuels in the 20th Century, it made the requirement for renewable energy resources marginal. Now that the world has woken up to the Climate Change issues, the need for more inventive technology is with us.

For instance, back in the middle ages, man was harnessing wind and water power to drive mills in order to grind corn and other elementary machinery. This technology largely disappeared due to the industrial revolution - but then what do we see on our shore lines today - windmills and wave technology that drive turbines to create Electricity instead of grinding corn. A matter of rethinking and re-engineering processes and needs. "

Energy from Water, we can imagine people think it is a scam!

" Léau est le grand réservoir, où la Nature trouve la masse de combustibles, qu'elle forme continuellement sous no yeux, et la vegetation paroît être son grand moyen " (M.1781. p. 491).

Which says; " Water is the large tank, where Nature finds the fuel mass, what continuously forms  under our eyes, and the vegetation cell to be its great means".

Antoine De Lavoisier, 1781
